Accountability: This position reports to and is supervised by the Kroc Administrator. Position supervises the following directors: Program, Marketing/Development, Business/HR, Support Services and Social Services.
Position Summary: This position is responsible for The Quincy Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center (RJKCCC) department functions to include: Program, Marketing/ Development, Business/HR, Support Services and Social Services. Position is expected to comply with and meet The Salvation Army, Federal, State and Local policies and standards.

1. Provide direct supervision to the directors in the following venues: Program, Marketing/Development, Business/HR, Support Services and Social Services.
2. Implement strategic plan to enhance operation in the areas of Program, Marketing/Development, Business/HR, Support Services and Social Services.
3. Direct activities in assigned venues and business units to optimize operational efficiency.
a. Evaluate and direct venue/business to ensure compliance with Salvation Army mission and to optimize financial and service performance.
b. Work with Business Director and RJKCCC Administrator to develop and implement budgets.
c. Oversee and manage development of programs with venue supervisors, including soliciting community collaborations.
d. Provide oversight to all personnel management functions to include recommendations of hiring, discipline, review, rewarding and terminating of staff.
e. Oversee staff scheduling to ensure appropriate levels.
f. Implement and enforce facility safety, including Safe from Harm guidelines.
4. Provide leadership and oversight in the day-to-day operational activities throughout the RJKCCC.
a. Work closely with Marketing to coordinate operational issues with marketing requirements.
b. Meet regularly with the Support Services and RJKCCC Administrator to set priorities and make recommendations for repairs, remodeling, and replacement of facilities and equipment.
c. Meet regularly with the Business Director to coordinate operational issues with sound fiscal and budgetary requirements.
d. Ensure the purchase of equipment and supplies are in compliance with operational requirements and meet budgetary considerations.
5. Supervise quality control check over all work performed by RJKCCC staff to ensure consistent, quality guest service.
6. Ensure the operation adheres to all safety guidelines, policies and procedures of The Salvation Army and complies with all Federal, State, and local laws.
7. Implement human resource policies and practices, including the development of associates for promotional opportunities.
8. Act as spokesman for the Kroc Center and The Salvation Army to the community as required.
9. Provide executive level reports to Kroc Administrator and Divisional Headquarters on daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly operations.
10. Create an environment that encourages teamwork by leading scheduled management team meetings that promote innovation, and a strong commitment to client satisfaction
11. Maintain confidentiality and comply with Salvation Army Safe From Harm guidelines.
12. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that fosters good relationships with clients, co-workers and supervisors. This includes, but is not limited to, such actions as: resolution of conflicts in a professional manner; courteous treatment of staff, visitors and clients; respect of others’ property and person; and professional and appropriate communication to and about clients, co-workers and supervisors.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years related work experience. Minimum of two years prior experience supervising and managing multiple task professional staff and supervisors. Combinations for education and experience will be considered. Familiar with Salvation Army mission and operations. Excellent communication skills a must. Strong leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to lead a team in providing services to the community. Have the ability to develop and administer facility budgets. Strong ability to plan, organize and direct associates to meet goals and objectives. Have the ability to work with children, parents and staff in a capacity of leadership, counseling and education. Maintain a professional attitude and approach to problem solving. Must demonstrate ability to think independently, able to handle several projects at the same time and exercise sound judgment. Requires a valid drivers’ licenses and must pass TSA MVR check.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements: Must be capable of performing the above essential duties in an office environment to include: using a computer, answering phones, etc. Most work will be indoors in a temperature-controlled environment.
